Learn techniques taught to Kunoichi (women) in the art of Ninjutsu, including:

 The mentality of an attacker
 Good habits of survivors
 Vulnerabilities on the human body
 Natural weapons on your body
 How to use everything in your purse as a weapon
 Useful techniques for dealing with common attack scenarios
 Healing resources for victims of attack

Taught by Missy Ames, who has been teaching women’s self defense classes in church/community settings since 1996, and has worked for over four years as a concert/nightclub bouncer and celebrity bodyguard, and by Russell Ames, who has taught Judo for over four years.

This class is designed with real women in mind, providing techniques suitable for all ages and body types. Because of frank talk about the reality of attacks on women, it is recommended that participants be at least 15 years old. Dress comfortably (workout attire is not required.)

Yoga for the Special Child™ Teacher Training
        taught by world renowned and founder: Sonia Sumar June 21-27, 2008

This comprehensive seven-day training program provides the essential tools for teaching Yoga to infants and children with special needs. Using hands-on and video instruction, Ms Sumar guides course participants through each stage of the special child's development. Topics include:

• how to evaluate infants and children
• how to create the optimum home environment
• how to work with specific syndromes and disorders.

 

The program offers a unique learning environment for children, their parents, and special education teachers. It is also appropriate for the continuing education of health care specialists in a variety of fields, including physical therapy, occupations therapy and pediatric and rehabilitation nursing.
